Turf Health and Vibrant Color with Microsync and Armament Concentrate

Often during cold, cloudy, rainy weather, it’s challenging to maintain turf health and, particularly, vibrant color. We can help overcome these problematic weather conditions and produce beautiful lawns with Foliar-Pak Microsync and Armament.

The formulation science behind Microsync is the key to its outstanding performance in lawn care. Microsync delivers an excellent complement of micronutrients. These nutrients are 100% chelated for better short-term and long-term availability. The copper, iron, manganese, and zinc in Microsync remain available in the soil longer than sulfate formulations in most competitive micronutrient formulations. With better availability of these nutrients, plants build more proteins and enzymes and photosynthesize more effectively, which means a lot to the plant in terms of better health, color, and disease tolerance. The superior chelation is why we see a residual of great color long after applying Microsync.

The key to Armament Concentrate is Armament technology and its ability to impact soil chemistry in challenging soils. We have to overcome many nutrient deficiencies in residential and commercial lawns. One of the main problems is the soil tie-up of nutrients by hostile forces. High pH, high phosphorus, high bicarbonates, low pH, and clay particles are some of the forces that render nutrients unavailable for root uptake. Armament technology delivers long-chain carbon structures with an abundance of negative charge associated, which means Armament provides zones of concentrated soluble nutrient activity instead of allowing soil nutrients to remain precipitated and tied up by these hostile forces. Armament will free up nutrients allowing the plant to gain access to a better balance of nutrition. When turf gains better access to a full complement of nutrients, we can rely less on nitrogen for a color response.

Using a program incorporating Armament Concentrate, Microsync, and the judicious use of nitrogen, the turf will grow at a more controlled rate and exhibit healthier qualities, including better root growth, stress tolerance, insect tolerance, disease tolerance, and color.

A side note and added benefit to using Microsync and Armament Concentrate in your lawn fertilizer programs is both are tank mix friendly with a wide variety of fertilizers and control products, including broadleaf herbicides and insecticides. In fact, Armament carries a humectant property, which means it absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. It can often keep the herbicide spray in the liquid phase for extended periods. This results in more opportunities for herbicide uptake and better results from the application. So, now, you can address plant health and fertility in a round where it has not traditionally been possible, like when applying broadleaf herbicides or spraying for fleas and ticks.
