First Soil Solver Live

soil solver live

In the first Soil Solver Live, Foliar-Pak’s George Murray, Curt Geron, and John Gruneisen discussed 3 ugly soil tests and how they solved them.

The first test was taken from a municipal sports turf field, which was a new field construction with quite a few bare spots, some from being newly seeded and others from compaction.

The second test was taken from a professional sports turf practice field, which needed to be able to handle the rigors of practice quickly. Was the irrigation water also causing a problem?

The final test was taken from a newly-constructed bentgrass green with sand-based soil. The fragile new grass needed to handle physical stress without a great mat layer of organic matter.

Watch the video below to find out how these ugly tests were solved.
